Guergis allegations came from '3rd party' |
|
Speaking for the government during Monday's question period in the House of Commons, Transport Minister John Baird would only say the allegations against Guergis came from a "third party." He would not disclose who the third party was. Read more: http://www.cbc.ca/politics/story/2010/04/12/helena-guergis-commons-investigation-layton.html#ixzz0kvNMX4R3Anonymous snitching. This should be interesting.

1. Up til now, they have ignored third parties |
|
It's interesting that they are taking this to heart. Jaffer/Guergis's friend (Mr. Gillani) is going to court April 21 about the fraudulent money wiring charge. Maybe that will prove to be relevant.
Lots of possibilities. Harper and company are definitely distancing themselves from Jaffer and Guergis, the way Mulroney tried to distance himself from Schrieber.
By the way, the Mulroney report should be ready soon - April or May was the promised date, as I recall.
