Stelmach lashes out at ‘sinister’ critics

On the eve of his meeting with movie maker James Cameron, Premier Ed Stelmach lashed out at some "sinister" oilsands critics whom he says are waging a dirty campaign against Alberta.

"There are a very small few in this country and elsewhere who have a political agenda of their very own.

"They care not about Alberta, or Albertans, or our health care or seniors, or our contributions to the economic and social wellbeing of Canada."

He said those people "are not debating the issues, they are waging a mean and dirty PR campaign attacking Albertans.

telling the truth about the environmental disaster that is the oilsands is "sinister" and, even worse, "mean and dirty", eh? I'm an Albertan and I'm with the "sinister" ones who are being "mean and dirty".
