4. Living in Con-land

here are the reasons I've heard and (yes, I know most are BS, these are in their words):

1. The economy didn't tank as bad as the rest of the world. Harper knows economics. Somehow those 2 are related.

2. Ignatieff is weird. And isn't he part American?

3. Liberals will raise taxes. Harper lowered the GST.

4. Jack Layton's a goof. What's with the 'stache?

Yep, deep thinkers. Also, I've noticed little fanfare about the Con's upcoming scandals on CTV or CBC. They seem, um, scared?

And, Canadians are not hurting, comparatively, therefore aren't ready to vote to change anything - the devil you know, and all that.

I think maybe if these dictatorial actions of Harper were driven home to the public, it would be a different story. Also, the Liberals don't make use of the amunition they have against him.
