Does the Canadian constitution allow for impeachment/recall/removal from office? |
|
Just wondering if there is a mechanism for removing a MP or Prime Minister from office.
There is a Contempt of Parliament citation against the Harper administration; are there any potential consequences, or is it just a toothless resolution like National Chocolate lover's day?

A prime minister can be removed by only one of three ways:
1- By election 2- By a vote of non confidence (impossible with a majority) 3- Removal by the Governor General (will NEVER happen, short of him committing mass genocide or something)
