| 1. Without AV, I'd still vote Lib Dem |
|
since the seat is a marginal between Tory and Lib Dem (Tory won last time), with Labour nowhere near (they barely held their deposit).
With AV, I'd put Labour first (the Greens 1st or 2nd, if they stood - they didn't last time), and then the Lib Dems.

expecting them to win but it was the Conservatives who unseated that fat Labour cow from Barnet.
I wouldn't piss on Labour is they were on fire.

| 3. The thing to look out for next time out... |

...is how much the Lib Dem vote collapses by. The result of a collapse in the Lib Dem vote would be that both parties become more entrenched, with Lib Dem/Tory bunfights becoming Tory and Lib Dem/Labour bunfights becoming Labour. Unless Labour can snaffle some votes off the Conservatives this would result in the Tories sneaking in an overall majority, although where I live it would increase Labour's majority.

If the Greens don't stand, I guess it might depend on who else is running (e.g., if there's a local independent who appears suitable or, failing that, MRLP.)
The Lib Dems have pissed me off and I'd echo Dipsy's comment on Labour upthread!
(The Conservatives would probably hold this seat anyway FWIW but I'm not going to give Clegg's Cowards any further support as it appears that it would just be another vote for Cameron at the end of the day.)

| 5. Depends on which parties stand |
|
I live in a different constituency now, in Gateshead.
Under FPTP, Labour very reluctantly.
Under AV, Socialists (TUSC or similar), 2nd Greens, 3rd Labour.
