If Bush wins, please invade us. :) |

I think I'm kidding, but I'm not sure.

Anyone can get absentee ballots, as I did while in college. This election is really important, so please do it!

2. What kind of Immigration policy does Australia have? |
|
Seriously. Canada sounds great but I want to move where there's warmer weather and wildlife. New Zealand?

our prime miniature (who despite my fervent hopes will probably win the upcoming election) is Bush Jnr. The only thing you'd really be escaping is the influence of religion in politics, otherwise we're facing the same crap.

10. My mother says New Zealand is wonderful, |

but she has only visited, twice. Maybe she just hit the right times of year. I know that the first time was in the spring. I will ask.

12. I'd LOVE to visit New Zealand! |
|
"Not that bad?!" I've heard such great things about this lovely country, both from my mother and from a British friend who often visits there. However, I'm on the East Coast and have heard, from both my parents, about the interminable flight. I'm not entirely sure I could do it. I'm not an intrepid flyer, haven't set foot on a plane since a cross-country flight before 9/11. I practically had a meltdown on a flight from NYC to Helsinki, with only six hours left to go. Any chance they'll ever offer Concorde service to New Zealand or Australia? That might be the only way I could manage it...

3. I think we'll be the ones 'invading' our own country |
|
by tossing out the despots. Although I do have faith that there are cool heads in our military who have already made plans, just in case.
