Going to St. Petersburg Russia and the Baltics next week. Advice? |
|
I'll be in St. Pete for a week, and then mostly in Latvia visiting relatives, with a couple of days also in Tallinn, Estonia. If anyone has been, I'd love to hear from you.

I am a complete Russophile, so i can give you some advice....
You must go to the Hermitage. Plan to spend the better part of two days there. It is a large art museum.
Also, if you are a history buff, the siege museum is execellent, as is the large WWII cemetary. (The name escapes me.)
Fidel and Dacha are two bars right off of Nevsky Prospect that are cool if you don't spea Russian. Lots of European and American ex-pats hang out there.
