I had someone in GD insinuate that since I live abroad my vote doesn't count? Just because I am an American living overseas I say my vote still counts. I haven't given up my citizenship. I still give a care what happens in America & I still tell Uncle Sam what I make and am subject to US law regarding Tax treaties, etc.
What say you?

It still counts. As long as you're an American Citizen, your vote still counts. I did argue with my British friend who had said that after a certain amount of time living here I couldn't vote in the American elections. I said, "No, as long as I'm an American, I have the right to vote." He was forced to eat crow as another friend of his backed up what I said to him.
