I'll be visiting Melbourne in Feb. -- anyone wanna go get a drink? :hi: I'll be there on business Feb. 2-16 ... I may or may not pop over to Sydney through 10-11, I haven't been there and would like to see a bit more of Australia, but no plans as of yet. Anyway, are any of you in the area and might care to meet up for a drink? We can rag on Bush and you can tell me all about ranked preference voting. (is that the right word?) :silly:

3. Melbourne visit

We'll be having our monthly Democrats Abroad mtg on 15 Feb (Thurs) if you are interested. Bagging Bush is a key topic at these mtgs. The more the merrier! Its just south of Queen Victoria Mkt ("Vic Market" for the locals). Franklin St intersects Elizabeth a few blocks south of the market. Hope you can make it and feel free to bring any Aussie associates (we frequently diverge into Australian politics, aka bagging Howard).
