I've never seen this happen before - Peter Debnam today said that it appeared that Labor was set to
win the NSW election, if polls are correct.
"In an extraordinary press conference, a clearly emotional Mr Debnam appears to have given up getting votes for his own party and resorted to appealing for a protest vote against the Government.
"The poll that counts is on election day," he said.
"The one today is a clear indication at this stage that it appears the Labor Party's going to win the election.
"Well, that's bad news."
http://www.abc.net.au/news/newsitems/200703/s1873267.htmI hope there is a protest vote against the Government; one which will see votes going to the Greens
and Independents.
I also hope this serves as a smack in the face for the Xian Right, who set up this silly man as their
puppet when instead the Libs could have been coasting to victory with John Brogden. If anything ever
proved that religion and politics shouldn't mix, this is surely it.
