Did you receive an automatic reply from Conyers/House Judiciary?

Hi all, I need to know because I saw the thread about how Conyers needs a million e-mails (below), and I went to the site and sent one.

But my machine got hung up and I'm not sure if my e-mail was sent.

I haven't received an automated reply, but I don't know if that means anything.

So if anyone here got an automated reply when sending e-mail (at http://www.house.gov/judiciary_democrats/contact.html), can you let me know?

1. Your machine didn't freeze.

After I sent mine my machine seemed to be in LockedLand. But I decided that since this is a Dem web site, probably the technology they're using is dated, so I walked away for awhile. I noted that within 10 minutes (or so), I did get a "Thank you for your message" screen.

Send another one and then go for a walk and come back. It'll process eventually.

3. i had the same experience...

...and i didn't receive any auto-reply (aside from the screen) after submitting.

mine showed that it went thru. took a while. showed his site and a thank you

Darn it, I didn't save the message and now I'm not sure if it got sent or not.

At first just that one window was hung up; then after a few minutes my whole machine was locked.

So I shut down the window in the task bar (which said the window was "not responding") and as a result all my windows were shut down.
