What State(s) Are Requiring A Copy Of A Valid Color Photo ID For Absentee Voting??

i just heard bobby kennedy mention this on ring of fire--am curious. here is the thread i put up about it in gd:

1. I heard that too.

I also heard how the 'Help America Vote' Act disenfranchises voters because the name on the voter rolls have to be an exact match to other identification. For example, if my name Allie B______ is Allison K B______ on an ID, I won't be able to vote in certain states. :wtf:

2. From what I googled, that needs to be qualified.

One example was for photo ID that CAN be used, in place of other documents, so that you can file for absentee for the first time.

There may be other examples requiring them without alternate. I just took a quick look.
