Now that there will be a Democratic President and a Democratic House and Senate, it is extremely important that we get rid of some of the unreliable DREs for once. I'm not saying it wasn't important before, but I think the odds are better this time for getting it passed. I am also concerned about optical-scan machines. I don't always have access to the internet, so it may take me a while to respond to this post, but what I can do to help get legislation to guarantee that our elections are fair?

For 8 years there were a lot of people who had to live with the big question of whether they actually lived in a democracy any more. I never want to have to wonder about that again.
(I don't have an answer, I'll be looking to see if someone else knows if there is already a push for election reform that I can donate to-- a lot of folks want to make sure this happens)
