Was asked: If the Dems Know Votes Are Stolen, Then Why.... |
|
...why does the party establishment allow the voting machines to be used and won't even audit the damn things?
Which is a good question.
Methinks they have sold out. That absolute power is their overarching goal and to keep power is their main desire. Therefore the idea that they could somehow ensure their re-elections is an idea that speaks very loudly in their heads.
The chance that they may never have to worry about getting elected, is why they ignore the elephant in the voting booth. They might be able to use it to their advantage, they seem to think.
YMMV

We who can see the elephant in the voting booth are some scary shits, ain't we?
Called all kinds of nasty names, made fun of, and otherwise denigrated for our cognitive super-abilities, our enemies, the vote-stealing Diebolds of the world are then set free to wreak havoc.

2. I think both sides are working behind the scenes subverting the system in their own ways. |
|
Perhaps some of the dems in control would not want an investigation into that stuff for fear of things to be exposed about itself. Logically, it makes sense to me... if there's damning information about your enemy and damning information about yourself it may be more helpful for both parties to keep quiet altogether.
I'm convinced that ANY administration and campaign has it it's dirty secrets. Republicans aren't saints but you'd be ignorant to think all the dems are angels as well. Politics, in general, is very dirty. Hooray for the two party system.

3. Because of their vanity - they were elected hense the machines must work |
|
to admit the machines are or can be corrupted is to have to look in the mirror and say - "Maybe I didn't really get elected."

You have given this some thought, eh? <grin> We have struggled mightily and have had great success, but we have this one last mountain to climb; The Vanity of the Pols.
