I finally figured out that Mark Helprin and Mark Helperin are two |
|
different people!
One is the author of A Winter's Tale.
The other is political director at ABC News.

3. I didn't know this either. |

I remember hearing somewhere along the line the phrase "Mark Helprin is a RW dickhead," and thinking that didn't really jibe with that Winter's Tale book so much.

4. Oh good, I thought I was the only one to make that mistake! |

It never made any sense to me, either!

It has been years since I read that book and I have been wondering how it was possible that Helprin was the same guy. I am glad to know he isn't and glad to know I was not the only one.
I could have wandered about 10 feet and looked at the bookshelf but no, I had to wonder all this time :).
