Has anyone read "A Thread of Grace" by Mary Doria Russell? |
|
I got it for my birthday and just finished it. It was hands down one of the best books I've ever read! I couldn't put it down. I was sure I'd like a book with a list of characters that long at the beginning but it would have been a shame to leave any of them out. And I really do like the ending.
Anybody read it?

1. I have it. Met the author at a book signing and she is fabulous. |

I'm going to bring it this weekend to my bookclub to put up for selection. I haven't read it yet, but intend to soon. Have you read "The Sparrow"? Moralistic sci-fi and very interesting.

I have it (not read yet - with a Brazillian other books) and Ms. Russell told me that she made it up to the priest in the sequel.

3. No, I haven't read "The Sparrow" |
|
but I've put in on my list. I only ended up with "A Thread of Grace" because Borders was having a "Buy 2 & Get the 3rd Free" sale and my sister told me to pick out three books to be for my birthday & Christmas from here. It was the most interesting one I saw behing Philippa Gregory's "The Queen's Fool" and "The Memory Keeper's Daughter."
