Great book: "Genghis - Birth of an Empire", by Conn Iggulden

Two weeks ago I was complaining about the lack of good fiction and then I found this book. Conn Iggulden is an incredible writer and I recall almost picking up one of his Caesar series until I discovered it was the 3rd one in line so thought I read the first one before the others. Some time back I was wanting a good book to read about Genghis but the ones I found tended to be dry and scholarly. Last night I was dreaming about this book, that I was on the open land on a horse surrounded by others when the fan in my window fell down and woke me up with a start. I was upset because I was sleeping so soundly and I never really got back to sleep after that.

1. Thanks for the tip. I love historical fiction but am unfamiliar with

that author. I will make a point of picking up something to read by him. I've pretty much gone through my paperbacks and need a new stash of "escape" literature. :-)
