"Ireland" author Frank Delaney has a new book coming out. |
|
It's called "Tipperary" and it comes out in November. I just got an advance reader's copy of it. I loved "Ireland," so I was really looking forward to reading this one but I'm having a hard time getting into it.
He switches back and forth between two narrators, which is kind of annoying. But the story seems like it should be a good one: lots of Irish history. I hope it picks up soon (I'm only on page 60 or so). :D

1. How's it coming along? |
|
I just finished Ireland, and for the most part loved it, but some of the stories were more interesting to me than others. I'd definitely give Tipperary a go.

2. To be honest, I got to about p. 200 and just skimmed the rest of it. |

I didn't like it at all, which surprised and disappointed me because I loved "Ireland" so much. Oh well, can't win 'em all. :)
