I just finished Blindness this week. Wow |

Wow, wow, wow. I have my HS students read for 10 minutes at the beginning of class and I model good reading for them by reading, too. The statement on humanity and what makes one of worth and beauty was so well done. At one point at the end, I had a tear or two I couldn't stop. What a powerful book. At points I felt like I might have been hit too hard with the allegory stick, but overall it was fantastic. Any other thoughts. Is it worth reading Seeing?

1. I read that about 4 years ago or whenever it first came out and was equally impressed and moved... |

I have not liked any of his other books that much.

But, I read this book long ago and was scared out of my wits basically. Very good book....that part where she goes downstairs is never far from my mind.
