I know this is the book group but I remember several people here have read the book (including me) I was wondering if anyone planned to see the movie this weekend? I saw the first TV ad for it yesterday and noted that it is rated PG13 - that makes me wonder how they managed that considering some of the rather intense scenes and subject matter. But I guess as long as you don't show a nipple the rating gurus don't care. :shrug:
But on the other hand it might mean the story is blunted and watered down for the movie version.

The book was too good to be made into a movie. I think I will pass this one up.
