I'm reading, "Giant", by Edna Ferber 1952

Of course I've seen the movie countless times but saw this at the library and finally decided to read it. It's quite a good read to say the least.

1. I liked the book even better than the movie.

2. I like reading the novels movies come from. African Queen is word for word.

Yet, the movie has humor that the book has not. No wonder Forester liked the movie better!

I read Room With A View after seeing the movie.
