John Mortimer, author, playwright and creator of Horace Rumpole, dies.
RIP, Mr. Mortimer. Rumpole soothed my soul and made me laugh myself silly. You (and sweet Leo McKern, who could not have been a better Rumpole) will be and are missed. Rest in Peace.
