James Grippando
Picked up 3 or 4 novels by this author and have been hesitant to start reading them (character: Jack Swyteck), and have just renewed them. I don't know why they don't appeal to me. I need a bit of humor and just glancing thru, there's no sign of it.

Has anyone read any of his stuff?

Just finished a couple of Carl Hiaasen books and liked them both.

1. Read every Carl Hiaasen book you can.
My favorites:

Lucky You
Native Tongue
Tourist Season
Skinny Dip

The weakest IMO were Basket Case and Sick Puppy. But even the weakest Hiaasen is better (and funnier) than 98% of the other books out there.
