"The Brass Verdict" by Michael Connelly |

First, let me say that even a mediocre Connelly novel is still 100x better than most other novels, but this one just didn't do it for me.
I expected the first Mickey Haller/Harry Bosch novel to really kick it, and maybe change POVs from one to the other. This one didn't. Also, there's a gratuitous 'twist' at the end that I thought wasn't really supported by the Harry Bosch 'universe', nor did it add anything to the story, IMO.
I likes me some Connelly, and this was a good read, but not a GREAT read, as I have come to expect.
I give it two neutral smilies: :^| :^|

And it was good to see Harry Bosch again..
There's always one or two in a series that misses the mark.
