I just finished the new Stephanie Plum book |
|
It was ok. Unfortunately, I read so much that I forget what happened in prior books.
If you are a Plum fan, it's not bad.

1. For some reason, I sorta burned out on |

her books after about six. The same thing happened with Clive Cussler books. I tried a few times with both, but the formula just got too predictable.

Two times I read one that was sure I had read before. I was out of town and didn't have anything else so I finished. When I got home I compared to the older ones and I hadn't read them before even though I was sure I had. I took a couple years off and read another one recently and it seemed new (don't know if it was different or I forgot the old ones)

4. The same thing happened to me. I read through 12 of Stephanie |

Plum and quit reading Clive Cussler altogether. He always has too many irons in the fire to keep up with any plot. Early Cussler books are great. I am reading John Sandford's Phantom Prey now.

5. I have it reserved at the bookstore on audiobook |
|
I get it Monday.
They may be quite similar but I enjoy the time out from real life as I read them. They make me laugh.
