17. I'm reading "The Little Stranger" by the same author. Have you |
|
read it? Only about 50 pages in, but I like her her writing so far. I just love it when I find an author that I like, and I tend to read everything they've written.

11. how to make love like a porn star |
|
by jenna jameson. seriously. i've always wondered how porn stars felt about their profession. i've fantasized about what it would be like. it doesn't seem to be that much fun even though jenna is very successful.

21. ICE RUN by Steve Hamilton |
|
It's an Alex McKnight mystery set in the UP of MI. I've read all the previous McKnight books - and they were okay, but this last one is a disappointment.
Not enough mystery and maybe too much romance (was on page 150 and I lost interest). Too much like a soap opera.
Started on the cat book, CAT ON THE EDGE, and I'm liking it a lot better.

24. MONKEEWRENCH by P. J. Tracy |
|
Edited on Thu Feb-04-10 07:28 PM by fadedrose
Just started this short while ago - am on page 18 or so.
So far, it's very good, a mystery with a smile on every page. Hope it stays good.
Edited to correct spelling; MONKEEWRENCH instead of MONKEYWRENCH.

25. This was a very good book - can't wait to start the next one in the series... |
|
It's written by a mother-daughter team. It has humor, detectives from Minnesota and Wisconsin, and some very likable characters. Didn't think I would like it when I read the jacket - about people who work on video games, but it's hardly about video games, it's mostly about the people, the crimes, the clues and how they solve the crime.

28. PATH OF THE ASSASSIN by Brad Thor |

When I saw that it started out with a mosque bombing in Medina done by people pretending to be Israel spies, I didn't want to read the book. Have been reading about the Arab-Israel situation since I was 12 years old and have no interest in reading fiction about it.
