Ken Bruen's Jack Taylor series? Anyone read them? I'm reading

the most recent one,"The Devil".

I've read the entire Jack Taylor series but none of his other books. Jack is an ex-Garda drunk and drug addict who works as a private investigator.

Bruen can be very dark,and has an interesting writing style.

Shows the not-so-nice side of Ireland.

I'm going to try his Max Fisher....to start....

2. I'll probably try those next. I love finding authors that are new to me.

The thing about the Jack Taylor character is that I would not like him if I knew him,yet I love the books.
