Book Recomendation - "Skippy Dies" by Paul Murray

A hilarious novel about a boys boarding school in the British Isles where the protagonist dies on page 5. Murray reminds me of John Irving. I highly recommend it.

1. I loved this book too. I found some parts hilarious, parts not. Loved all of it.

I passed it on to my husband, and he felt the same way.

2. Yup, a real tragic-comedy. It touches on so many issues such as

abusive relationships, abuse by Priests/teachers, bullying, drug use, obesity, puberty, eating disorders, etc, etc.
I found it to be an amazing novel.
