7. When the movie came out, there were many folks who thought it was...

about me.

I rarely watch movies and never go into theaters, so I had no idea what they were talking about.

Just yesterday, I went to Sonoma Market in bathrobe and slippers. And I am close to being a dead ringer to Jeff Bridges. I finally got around to watching the movie, a year or so ago.

Last year (I think) several people (including some here on DU) who are familiar with my life and music thought the movie about the singer was about me. Maybe I should watch that one, as well.

Life gets curious, sometimes.

11. When is your book coming out?

I suppose I should brush up on my Lebowski. I cannot even remember how the dang thing ends, which is one of the problems inherent with mixing bourbon, great wine, and Humboldt's Finest with a movie.

I do remember, however, the fat guy's portrayal of a fucked-up vet. That was hard, because I have known quite a few guys like that character.

Good luck with your book sales. Could you PM that link to me? You can count on me for at least a few copies. I am going to try to remember all of the people who thought I was the model. Peter Coyote is one of them, as is The Pretty Pamela, the Late, Great Tom Snyder's partner.

Now, back to my bourbon (Elmer T Lee, the best under $60/btl out there). I can afford better shit than The Dude could.
