Has anyone read "A Fine Balance" by Rohinton Mistry? |
This novel takes place in India, this book was once on Oprah's list. If I'm 1/4 of the way through and still not 'grabbed', do you think I should wade some more?

2. I loved it also, but it's not for everyone. I gave it to several friends |
who were not able to finish it. I read it a number of years before Oprah picked it, and while I don't follow her program or book club choices, I thought it was a rather ambitious selection..

4. Keep reading. It gets better & better. And is quite the book with the |
lesson at the end. One of my favorite books for that reason.

7. It was one of my life's too short books |
as in, life's too short to spend reading books that are BORING! Read The God of Small Things. A Much better book with the same themes.
