Light On Snow by Anita Shreve |
|
I finished this book last night and am glad I found the author. It's probably considered chick lit as it's sort of a young girl's coming of age story. I thought to mention it since it takes place at Christmas.

1. One of her earlier books |

is called "The Resistance," I think. It is very good. Try to find it, if you can.

3. If this is your first Anita Shreve, you have to go find a copy of |
|
The Last Time They Met. It left me reeling for a week. DO NOT READ THE LAST CHAPTER first or you will ruin the whole book!

4. Oh, man. Don't even get me started on TLTTM. |

I bought it randomly, and while I think she's a decent writer with only a fair intellect (and poor plotting skills), that last chapter? Egh. That's one of the only books that has made me cry in like, three years.

But I'm still game and ready to give it a read. I'll be sure to have the tissues handy when I get to the last chapter.

We left to go out of state the morning of your posting and only got back last week. So I just found your suggestion!
I'm now looking for books to dive into and have requested it from the library. They have a few copies available and I can hardly wait. Thanks again!
