Brilliant, brilliant book.
It's about a day in the life of a neurosurgeon in London during the run up to the Iraq war.
Anyone else read it?

Going to pick it up once I'm through the other books I'm reading (there are about eight, so it'll probably be a few weeks to a month).
I thought Atonement was amazing; if you've not read it, you really should. McEwan may be the best novelist currently writing in English; he's certainly on the short list.
