I'm in the middle of this right now and it is excellent.
An alternative history in which Lindbergh is elected POTUS and the US stays out of WWII.
Fascinating examinatuion of how close to the surface Anti-Semitism and Fascism are even in this country.
Highly recommended.

1. This would make a great movie, especially if it exposes the U.S.

-- but terrific all the same.

Just a solid, provocative novel about a hell of an interesting topic.

The first was The Human Stain...
