I just saw the most Amazing photography book in the doctors office - was totally blown away by the absolutely gorgeous pics and how beautiful our planet is. I am very very tempted to buy it from amazon, but I'm a fraidy cat with giving out my credit card number on the net.

Am I being silly?
Anyone have advice, bad experiences, good experiences with online purchases?

about a gazillion times, and I've NEVER had a problem. That's just me, of course, but I've been very happy with them.

3. You'll be fine with Amazon, although...

...you might consider going through Borders' site, instead. Got to www.Borders.com , look for the book, and you'll automatically be redirected through Amazon's checkout process. According to www.choosetheblue.com and/or www.buyblue.org , their political contributions go to the dem side of the aisle. While they are now filtering their business to Amazon, they still get a piece of the sale, and you're getting your book for the same price.

And don't pay attention to any Nigerians looking for your help in getting hold of their nation's looted billions!
