I advocate judicial grammaticalism, i.e. decisions based on the plain, unvarnished English meaning of the Constitution. For example when it says "no law" it means zero, none, nada.
I think "Original Intent" is poppycock, we do not have access to the original intent of the signers, other than in their writings, and the Constitution must be taken to speak for all of them as their "Original Intent" in producing it, everything else is both secondary and hearsay. The text is the message. Make sense of it if you can, but leave Thomas Jefferson's internal mental state out of it.
