I just read the book "The Death of Feminism" |
|
This book was written by Phyllis Chesler. Ms Chesler call for feminism to go into a new direction of independent thought not group thought. Gender apartheid in the Muslin world is a topic that has long been ignored by western feminists. Ms Chesler knows a thing or two about gender apartheid. She was married to an Afghan and lived in Afghaninstan in the late 50/early 60s. She left the marriage in 1961 and returned to college to complete her studies. "The Death of Feminism" also takes on the topics of the Islamification of Europe and the rash of "honor" killings that have recently taken place. It also talks about the imposition of Sharia laws in Europe and Canada. Ms Chesler is also the author of the following books: "Women and Madness", "Letters to a Young Feminist", and Woman's Inhumanity to Woman", and The New Anti-Semitism."
