the author John Keel has been investigating UFOs and such things for decades, this book takes place in the sixties for the most part. He talks about a few subjects that he believes to be related. The really weird parts of the book are the men in black episodes(documented years before the movie!!) and how they interact with ufo witnesses. It's really a bizarre read.

3. I've not read Mothman, but |
|
Keel and his book are referenced several times in a GREAT book called "Angels and Aliens." This book doesn't take sides on the UFO question, but discusses it in terms of myth and archetype. No matter what you may believe about UFOs, if you have any interest at all in the subject, "Angels and Aliens" will probably offer something of interest. It's just fantastic, really.
I'd like to read "The Mothman Prophesies," and will surely get around to it some day.

And probably still have it somewhere. The book was investigated by a lot of people and found to be TRUE. It is a really scary thing that cant be ignored as this has been going on for 100's if not 1000's of years

7. Find the original "Strange Creatures from Time and Space"-- |
|
THAT's the really great Keel book that deals with the Mothman, Jersey Devil, Abominable Swamp Slobs, etc. Spooky stuff!

as interesting as some parts of this book are, Google it sometime. It's considered controversial by some, who feel that Keel had questionable motives for publishing a book they claim aims specifically to convince his audience that essentially there are no aliens, UFOs, or government collusion to conceal any phenomena affiliated with those things, only hallucinations experienced by individuals through mass consciousness. Which is an idea worth considering, (Keel as a disinformation agent of one persuasion or another) even if it isn't provable.
