Just started reading 'Katharine Graham's Washington' |
|
It's a gathering of articles, memoirs, humor and history chosen by her about Washington. It's not so much about the politics as it is about the people who make up D.C. and shows why she loved it.
I'm not far into it, but has been interesting.
Anyone else read this?

I read "Personal History" but haven't read "Washington".
She had a distrubing childhood, sad.

2. I worked there while she was alive - she was one fine lady. She's the |

reason I joined The Post. Watching her and Ben Bradley interact was really something. The paper was so dynamic and fiery while she led it - too bad it's changed so drastically. She's got to be rolling in her grave seeing it become Bush's mouthpiece.
