"Touch and Go" - Studs Terkel |

This amazing man has written, at age 95, a memoir. I got it at the Library yesterday. It's a delight.

people had. Thought it was fascinating. I'll bet this is great. Thanks.

And it's in transit for me.
In the last couple books he's written, he keeps saying it'll probably be his last due to what happens with age. I'm glad he keeps outwitting the inevitable fate.

I love Studs. He was on Democracy Now not long ago .In his red shirt ,he reminded me of my dad , who got colorful in his last days after being a white shirt and tie man ever since I could remember. He passed away at 95 , still sharp as a whip.
I hope Studs lives another 95 <sigh>

Sweet home Chicago! Not my home, but sure would like to visit it. I flew into the airport this weekend, water everywhere...EVERYWHERE! How is it that Studs is still sharp as a tack while people way younger get alzheimers? Great book, reads as if he's talking to you face to face.
