"The Commission," by Phillip Shenon |

Has anyone read it? If so, what did you think? Was it credible, and did it contain interesting behind the scenes information?

A lot of info on how Zelicow was working from the inside to shield Bush and Rice and the administration. How he sought to sneak in information, much of it discredited to justify the Iraq War. His communications with Rove. How many serious investigators and those in intelligence agencies wanted to get the truth out were thwarted by Zelicow and others.
The book could've been better. I wouldn't call it earth-shattering but IMHO every DU'er should read it. I would love to see in the next Democratic administration a reopening of this investigation and to also release any redacted info from this commission and the congressional investigation - especially those 28 pages on Saudi's involvement.
