I am toying with the idea of purchasing one at a future date, but I wanted to know if anyone here has used it, or has friends that have it and what their opinions are about it?

All I know is that it is bloody expensive, is only in black and white and has a limited (but growing) library...

1. My Dearest Husband has one and he LOVES it!

He said it takes about ten minutes before it's just like looking at a real page.

It has limited internet capabilities, but in a pinch you could use it for that, too.

He gives it two thumbs up, and he'd give it more if he had more thumbs.

2. I don't have one

but I've used one. I love it.

The "only a black and white" screen isn't a negative - it's a beautiful new technology that really looks like ink on paper. It's the first handheld device or ebook reader that I would actually use to read a book.
