The Third Coast, Edward Ted McClelland |
|
Now here is my kind of book. Travel, in a car, I prefer motorcycle, but he gives a nuts and bolts description of everything. No poetic license here, just the facts man. A good theme, 3rd coast, the Great Lakes, around clockwise by car, camping, etc. As a journalist, as a book writer, so he gets contributions. His goal is to stay within sight of the lakes. Chicago around back to Chicago. So far very interesting. dc

2. I'm finally getting to read this |
|
It had to come to my library from another part of the state. But it's finally here and I'm halfway through it.
Since we've never explored that part of the country, I'm so glad to take this armchair trip around the Great Lakes. Thanks so much for recommending it. I've alerted a Chicago friend about it, too. She's going to love it and easily find it locally.
