Bookmooch vs. Paperback Swap....which site do you prefer, and why? |
Iuse swap sites, downside is I have 120 books I have to read so I can swap more books. 80% are non-fiction.

2. PBSwap is better, I switched a month ago, got a lot of books |
that had never come up on bookmooch. shortly after I joined Bookmooch, they made changes, including letting a for profit book store get books from the site. Immediatly the quality of books went way down. PBS site is 10 x faster, very well designed, works on same principle, with a bit more guidance. I find lots of books I want on it. (paperbackswap.com)

5. I have a question for you, and the sites, |
which none of them show on the site. Do they take/list/swap books without isbn. I only have several hundred such, and I know Powells doesn't take them. Does mooch or pbs? I have put in questions to them. dc

6. Your question David 13 |
Well, David 13, the answer is that yes, both mooch and swap take books without isbn. You just have to enter the details and list them. David 13, thanks so much for answering my question. Hey, that's me. I'm answering my own question here. Well now, let me address the op's original question. Which do you prefer. Neither. I hate them both. I listed over 100 books each, so I had a few moocher's and swappers, 7 or 8 each site. But. I have to pay postage, which turned out to more than $20. And, neither of them has any books I want, which, I only want 3. So, I hate them both. dc
