I am in the middle of this book. Very thought provoking and a call to arms against over-economizing our liberty by a nobel prize winning economist. His perspective if fully realized is a great foil for imperialism around the world and internally at home. Conceptualizing things like universal health care, quality education for all, etc. as fundamental freedoms worthy as ends in themselves and impactful on economic growth and equality, Sen is hard to surpass.
