I rediscover this wonderful book from way back when I was a teenager...

Connections by James Burke.

It fascinated me back then and I have been looking on and off for a copy of the book. It seems it was out of print and then, at the end of 2007, Burke updated the book and re-released..

It spins a thread between stuff that, on the surface, are completely unrelated.

But he explains that because of this, that happened which brought us to where we are now.

It's a great book and easy to understand.

James Burke was giving a talk at, I forget, USF or somewhere in Tampa and I wanted to go but there was some kind of conflict with the schedule
