Any good books on Europe's demographic |

problems? Chiefly the less-than-replacement birthrate and the non-assimilated immigrant communities ?
Yes, I know even naming these as problems may offend some DUers. But as a sociology & history person, I also know such conditions can affect much else.
Have been seeking a book or two on them, either of fact-based reportage or from a liberal perspective. But all I can find is loaded with RW propaganda, with a lot of Europe-bashing because of Europeans' dislike of the George Bush regime.
Surely right-wingers aren't the only ones who're studying or writing about these issues? Would very much like to find and read some books on these topics that I can trust a little!

1. Here are a couple of suggestions: |

"The social dimension of the European Union..." http://gsp.sagepub.com/cgi/reprint/7/3/271Also, you might try the portal of the European Union: http://europa.eu/about-eu/basic-information/index_en.htmBTW, "social integration" is the current buzz-word in Europe for assimilation. Happy hunting!
