Very interesting.My voice teacher, Jack, said she had perfect technique.

The YouTube recording of her singing the Polonaise from "Mignon" at age twelve is the most amazing vocal performance I have ever heard. Google it on YouTube and prepare for the "dog whistle register".

Her life as a performing child supporting her family was a real soap opera. Both her mother and stepfather drank too much.
