Is this book any good? I got such a kick out of her on Wait Wait Don't Tell Me. Plus she is enjoyable to watch and listen to. I've ordered the book out from the library. I need something good to read as I haven't had any good books in a year. Something that interests me. Her case and her situation interests me, but also enrages me, particularly not being able to sue Cheney. Any comments within reason would be appreciated. dc

1. I love this book. Yes I know it's old. But it's free from the library. |

I have just started on the book. First, she is so good looking. She is so articulate. Two masters degrees. And what a story. A story that would never have come to light or publication, but for the attack on her by the evil empire, in a pathetic and illegal attempt to stab her husband in the back. The court cases. Ruling that she could not 'reveal' or 'disclose' information that has already been revealed or disclosed by others is wrong. She cannot be prevented from speaking. She can only be prevented by the confidentiality agreement from revealing or disclosing classified information. When she reiterates something that is in the public domain, she is not revealing or disclosing it. Wrong ruling as I see it. She cannot sue the evil empire. Their tactics were 'unsavory' but not actionable???? Ridiculous. They were far more than unsavory. The were plain old common criminality, as in against the law. And thus Lewis Libby was sentenced to 2 1/2 years in jail which they weaseled him out of. I've got to read this book slow, and enjoy it all along the way. dc
