The Oppermanns
Has anyone read this novel, published in 1934, about the rise of the Nazi party as it happened? It's an amazing chronicle of the attitudes that made it possible.

2. I found it on Amazon
I heard about it via a documentary on Discovery about the diplomats who saved Jewish artists in the 30s and 40s. At the time it was published, the worst hadn't yet happened, but it proved to be prophetic.
