‘Octomom’ paid $5K to tout pet birth control

LA HABRA, Calif. - Octuplets mom Nadya Suleman is unveiling a banner outside her Southern California home reading, "Don't Let Your Dog or Cat Become an Octomom. Always Spay or Neuter."

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is paying Suleman $5,000 to display the sign in her La Habra front yard. As an added incentive, the animal rights group is throwing in a month's supply of veggie burgers and veggie hot dogs for Suleman and her 14 children.

PETA executive Tracy Reiman says the single mother plans a brief statement.
